Lush Cosmetics

LUSH is a handmade cosmetics company headquartered in Poole, Dorset in the UK and have more than 600 stores in 43 countries.

Lush produces and sells a variety of handmade products, including soaps, shower gels, shampoos and hair conditioners, bath bombs, bubble bars, hand and body lotions and face masks.

The Problem

Due to their expansion LUSH have several factories and offices on the same trading estate which required high speed connectivity between them. The network requirements were; High- speed, redundant and availability of 99.999% uptime.

Digging up the roads between each of their sites proved too costly as was dedicated leased lines because they often changed site locations and spawned temporary sites. They also found they required more capacity and coverage on within their warehouses as demand for wireless device integration grew.

The Solution

DigitalAir designed a wireless solution that allowed the flexibility to quickly spawn locations by installing nine point to point links. To meet the increase in capacity and coverage requirements within their warehouses, a full refresh of their Cisco infrastructure was conducted.
