Cisco have awarded the Advanced Specialization accreditation of "Advanced Wireless LAN Specialists" to DigitalAir for their commitment in certifying their Sales and Engineering teams. Only a few reseller in the UK currently hold this level of certification which demonstrates the expert level of knowledge of the Cisco wireless solutions within DigitalAir Wireless.

With 802.11N now quickly becoming the standard 802.11 deployment, DigitalAir successfully installed yet another 802.11N Cisco solution into the education sector. Paterson Institute for Cancer Research which is part of the Manchester University looked to DigitalAir to install the Cisco solution as part of a drive for greater mobility within the research institute. There were several reasons for selecting the Cisco 802.11N solution of which its secure "Guest Access" and data throughput were but two of them.

DigitalAir Wireless has proudly be chosen by a national retailer to pilot in several of its stores the Cisco Unified Wireless Network solution. The intended solution is to replace the retailers existing WLAN infrastructure in all of its stores throughout the UK.

DigitalAir have been awarded a contact to upgrade South Tyneside's wireless backbone link, moving it up to Gigabit speeds. The new project will enable the council to consolidate more of their network at their remote locations without it having an impact on network performance. The cost of this project was delivered at a 5th of the cost that they had been quoted to lay private fibre to the same location.

DigitalAir have just completed the first in a series of Cisco wireless installations at one the Ramada's hotels in the midlands. DigitalAir's "Wireless Hospitality Solution" was implemented resulting in the entire hotel being covered with 802.11a/b/g wireless coverage for visitors.

Due to the fact that Netgear has recently brought to market a controller based wireless networking solution, Digitalair have now qualified all engineers to wireless Netgear specialists. Netgear's new offering bridges a gap in their portfolio for a cost effective controller based solution.

DigitalAir has recently installed and commissioned a twelve node Cisco wireless mesh network for a local client in Portsmouth. This solution offers their client full campus area coverage, allowing wireless handheld's to be operated anywhere on their site.

DigitalAir have just finished a complex wireless network which included a remote office (1.5miles) and a new VoIP solution. The project brought together such technologies as VoIP, 802.11a, 802.11g, and 802.1Q.
