Sub10 range of PTP links are designed to work as a point-to-point data link in the 60GHz unlicensed band. It supports short range applications up to 1000m (2625 ft) with 100Mbps, 320Mbps and 1Gbps Full Duplex data throughput. The signal absorption by oxygen and the narrow beam width of the high gain planar antenna allows for high spatial reuse and a high security level.
